| Drawing a beer pint/ glass with realistic fizz |
Page 1 of 3 Here is the final output we are going to create in this tutorial.
To start lets create a rectangle using rectangular shape
Press Ctrl+T to get the transform handles. Right click and select warp. Adjust the handles to give the shape of a pint as shown below.
Repeat the steps for the other side too.
Again transform and warp to create oval shape on bottom of the pint.
Similarly create a curve on the top of the glass.
Using elliptical shape
Select the beer pint we created and in layer window double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply gradient overlay with the settings shown below.
Create a thin rounded rectangle using rounded rectangular shape
As before transform and warp. From the preset warp shapes at the top select arc. Drag the anchor point downwards to create a shape as shown.
Place it at the bottom of the pint.
Apply layer style as shown below.
Press Ctrl and click the pint / glass layer to get its selection.
Select >> modify >> contract the selection by 10 pixels. Press Ctrl+Alt+D to create a feather selection of 4 pixels.
Create a new layer and fill this selection with a solid yellow color as shown.
From layer palette select "overlay" layer mode.
Duplicate this layer. From filter menu select pixelate >> pointillize. Apply settings as shown below.
Change layer mode to luminosity and reduce opacity as shown below.
