Go to adjustment layer >black & white.Press Ctrl+T, right click and select flip horizontally.

Crea a duplicate of this B&W layer. Hide the layer. We will use it in a later step.

From bottom of the layer palette click on "Add vector mask". Press D to reset the foreground and background colors to default B&W.

Using gradient tool create a Black to White gradient in linear mode to create a soft blend.

Change the layer mode to soft light.

Create a new layer and fill it with a solid color as shown below.

From filter menu select Render>> Lens Flare. Apply settings as shown below.

Change layer mode to saturation.

Insert cutout of a cross.

From filter menu select render>> Lens Flare. Apply settings as shown below.

Double click the layer to open layer style window and apply settings as shown.
